Safaricom Investment Co-operative (S.I.C.) was set up in 2009 under the Co-operatives Act Cap 490 to pursue joint investments for its members and has been in the real estate space since its inception. As an investment cooperative, SIC pursues various investment opportunities for the benefit of its members. The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving business growth, delivering revenue targets, and expanding the co-operative's membership base while maintaining high standards of operational effectiveness and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Target Delivery: Deliver business targets measured by revenues, membership growth, operational effectiveness, risk management parameters, and human/cultural values parameters.
Reporting: Provide periodic reports to company management on sales operations and generated returns using CRM systems.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective strategies and tactics for achieving set targets.
Client Consultation: Communicate with clients to identify their requirements and choice of property.
Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance and adherence with Property Laws and SIC's Policies and Procedures when conducting property sales.
Market Intelligence: Conduct surveys to identify prices of competing properties on land and housing markets.
Property Inspection: Conduct the inspection of a property to ensure the terms and conditions of sales are met before closing sales deals.
Deal Closing: Coordinate with respective clients the closing of property deals to ensure vital documents are signed and payment received.
Promotion: Participate in the promotion of property sales on advertisement media and listing services.
Relationship Management: Maintain contact and relationships with customers to have future opportunities for business prospects.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience: 3-5 years of working experience, preferably in the Real Estate sector.
Performance History: Proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
Education: Degree or Diploma in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, Sales, or any business-related course.
Expertise: Client Management and revenue growth experience.
Core Skills: General proficiency in real estate and sales processes, negotiation skills, lead generation, and closing skills.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; team player with the ability to work under pressure.
Technical Skills: Digital and AI Marketing skills.
Network: Access to a client database of more than 5,000 contacts.
