Our client in the FMCG sector is seeking to recruit a Sales Executive whose primary purpose is to manage the sales, marketing, and distribution of all company products. This role focuses on efficiently managing resources within the country to achieve profitable sales volumes, building a strong route-to-market network, and providing exceptional customer service to maximize market opportunities for premium products.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management: Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to visit existing or potential sales outlets.
Business Development: Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in assigned territories to generate new business.
Trade Marketing & Activations: Execute trade marketing strategies across a portfolio of brands (including brand activations, merchandising, and POS placement) while understanding consumers, categories, competition, channels, and the external environment.
Partner Relations: Implement and establish close working relationships with resellers, traders, and retailers to gain high levels of trade support and loyalty.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competition by gathering marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques; document all pricing activities.
Reporting: Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, competitive activities, and potential for new products; submit activity and results reports including daily visit logs, weekly plans, and annual territory analyses.
Ethical Standards: Represent the company in accordance with business standards, managing financial activities in an ethical manner.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably within the FMCG industry.
A Bachelor’s degree in a related business field, with a preference for Sales and Marketing specialization.
Strong relationship management and communication skills.
