Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales and Marketing Lead who will play a vital role in driving business growth by developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives within the Manufacturing - building materials sector. The role focuses on generating leads, securing projects, strengthening brand visibility, managing client relationships, and positioning the company competitively in the construction and infrastructure market.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and project acquisition targets.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with contractors, developers, and corporate clients.
Project Documentation: Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and tenders for construction-related projects. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Brand Promotion: Promote the company’s construction products and services through digital and traditional marketing channels. Oversee company website, social media platforms, and marketing materials (brochures, catalogs, project portfolios).
Client Management: Establish and maintain relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, and developers. Handle key accounts and ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the construction sector. Monitor pricing trends, market demand, and project pipelines.
Tender Management: Identify relevant tenders and project opportunities. Coordinate preparation of technical and commercial proposals while liaising with technical, procurement, and finance teams.
Leadership: Lead and supervise the sales and marketing team, setting KPIs and monitoring performance. Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to junior staff.
Collaboration: Coordinate with operations, production, and technical teams to ensure project alignment.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in marketing, training, or a related role.
Strong understanding of Manufacturing - building materials and market dynamics is an added advantage.
Proven skills in negotiation and business development.
Expertise in strategic planning and market analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Results-driven and target-oriented mindset.
