Job Description Role Overview
The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy targets for the hotel. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, driving room sales and event bookings, and overseeing marketing campaigns while maintaining brand consistency. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader capable of building long-term relationships with corporate clients and travel agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development: Create and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and occupancy goals.
Business Development: Identify new business opportunities among corporate clients, travel agents, and group bookings.
Revenue Generation: Proactively drive room sales, conference bookings, and events business.
Marketing Campaigns: Plan and execute marketing initiatives to promote hotel services across various channels.
Brand Management: Oversee brand positioning and ensure consistency in all promotional materials and advertisements.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate partners, and agencies.
Negotiation: Manage contract negotiations and agreements with corporate clients.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction to encourage repeat business.
Team Leadership: Lead, guide, and mentor the sales and marketing team.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on revenue, occupancy forecasts, and market trends.
Collaboration: Work closely with front office, reservations, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales and Marketing Manager specifically within the hospitality industry.
Track Record: Proven success in driving sales, securing bookings, and establishing partnerships.
Digital Skills: Strong digital marketing proficiency.
Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Attributes: Ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and maintain a results-oriented approach.
