Job Description

Stellar Human Resource Solutions is looking for a SACCO Officer to join their team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of member accounts within the SACCO, ensuring efficient service delivery and compliance with established policies.

Key Responsibilities

Member Management: Handle member registration and manage account details.
Loan Operations: Facilitate loan processing, appraisal, and follow-up on disbursements.
Financial Tracking: Oversee deposit mobilization and track loan recovery progress.
Member Relations: Respond to member inquiries with professionalism and provide relevant information.
Reporting: Prepare detailed financial and operational reports as required by management.
System Maintenance: Manage transactions through the SACCO management system and mobile application.
Compliance: Ensure all operations strictly adhere to SACCO policies and regulatory procedures.

Requirements

Education: A Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ professional experience specifically within a SACCO or Microfinance institution.
Technical Proficiency: Mandatory experience in using SACCO management systems or relevant software applications.
Skills: Strong numerical, analytical, and reporting skills are essential.
