Role Overview
As a Road Inspector Intern, you will work closely with qualified engineers and road officers to monitor construction and maintenance of local county roads. This internship aims to build capacity and provide practical training in public civil engineering works.
Responsibilities
Assist in the inspection of ongoing road construction and rehabilitation projects to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Support quality control checks on construction materials and workmanship.
Assist in preparing progress and inspection reports on road projects.
Learn to interpret engineering drawings, site plans, and specifications.
Collaborate with senior site personnel and county officials to support community infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
A Diploma in Civil Engineering
