The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing revenue management strategies, reservation operations, and distribution channels. He/She will ensure the efficient operation of the hotel’s revenue-generating functions while maintaining a focus on guest satisfaction and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the hotel’s revenue and market strategy to optimize pricing, positioning, inventory, and performance across rooms, MICE, F&B, and other revenue streams.
- Drive revenue growth and market share by applying revenue management principles to improve ADR, RevPAR, RPI, and overall commercial performance.
- Collaborate with the GM, Director of Sales & Marketing, and Finance Director to prepare and manage the annual hotel budget, forecasts, and commercial targets.
- Lead pricing and sales strategy for transient, group, meetings, and events in coordination with Sales, Marketing, and M&E teams.
- Conduct continuous market and competitor analysis including pricing trends, demand patterns, seasonality, and distribution channel performance.
- Oversee e-commerce and digital distribution performance, including OTA, GDS, website production, rate parity, content accuracy, and online visibility.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports, including revenue analysis, forecasts, and strategic recommendations.
- Develop and lead the revenue and reservations team, including training staff on revenue management principles, ensuring collaboration across departments, and monitoring team performance.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in hotel management or in a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of Revenue & Reservations Management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong written and spoken English.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a self-motivated and results-driven mindset.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hotel revenue management concepts, systems, and competitive market dynamics.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into commercial strategy.
- Financial management capability, including P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning.
- Proficiency in revenue management systems, hotel systems, and analytical tools, including advanced spreadsheet applications.
- Strong execution and performance management skills, with the ability to implement strategy and deliver measurable commercial results.
