Sarova Hotels, Resorts & Game Lodges is seeking an experienced and analytical Revenue Manager to oversee and optimize revenue streams at their hospitality operations in Nairobi. This role is ideal for a commercially minded individual who has a passion for results, exceptional strategic capabilities, and hands-on experience in managing hotel distribution and inventory systems.
Key Responsibilities & Attributes
Demand Forecasting & Pricing: Develop and implement advanced analytical models for demand forecasting and strategic pricing.
Distribution & Channel Management: Manage hotel distribution systems, including Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and Central Reservation Systems (CRS) platforms.
Inventory Optimization: Effectively balance and manage both room sales and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) / banquet / conference revenue streams.
Stakeholder Influence: Provide confidence, negotiation, and credibility to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisive actions.
Systems Implementation: Utilize Revenue Management Systems (RMS), Property Management Systems (PMS), and various channel managers.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: At least two (2) years of direct experience in Revenue Management, preferably within a resort or large-scale hospitality establishment.
Proven Track Record: Experience managing both rooms and banquet/conference revenue streams successfully.
Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with hospitality revenue management software, RMS, PMS, and channel managers.
