The Revenue Clerk II is a critical position within the Makueni County Public Service, responsible for facilitating efficient revenue collection and administration. The primary objective of this role is to support the county's financial sustainability through accurate revenue tracking, business administration, and tax management tasks.
Salary and Compensation
Job Group 'F' Salary Scale: Kshs. 20,560 x 680 – 21,240 x 700 – 21,940 x 780 - 22,720 x 800 – 23,520 x 950 - 24,470 x 950 - 25,420 х 1,040 – 26,460 p.m.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:
Be a Kenyan citizen;
Have Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ (Plus) or its approved equivalent;
Have a certificate in any of the following disciplines: Business Administration, Business management, Accountancy, Tax Administration, Revenue Administration or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Have a certificate in computer applications.
Compliance and Clearance Requirements
Shortlisted candidates will be required to obtain clearance from the following institutions and produce the certificates during the interviews:
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID/DCI).
Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
Additional Information
Shortlisted candidates must produce original documents during the interview, including the National Identity Card/Passport, academic certificates, professional certificates/transcripts, and registration certificates where necessary.
