The Revenue Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring data accuracy and providing analytical support to optimize hotel revenue. This involves managing the Property Management System (PMS) data quality, analyzing performance trends, and supporting the preparation of the annual revenue budget.
Responsibilities
Communicate processes for booking quality and correct data input into the PMS to the reservation and front office teams.
Regularly check the input and quality of data (segmentation, denials tracking, etc.).
Update the event database in the Revenue Management System (RMS).
Analyze hotel performance in the RMS as a basis for strategy decisions.
Survey the market and competitors regarding pricing and closed dates to inform future pricing strategies.
Analyze contract performance (price, allotments, number of rooms sold, etc.) before renewal decisions.
Identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
Support the preparation of the annual revenue budget.
Maintain proficiency in the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management or a Business course.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in the industry.
Proficient in the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
