Job Description
Peoplelink Consultants Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of a restaurant facility in Nairobi. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team, ensuring high standards of customer service, and managing the financial health of the establishment.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership and direction to the restaurant team, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
Operations: Oversee daily functions, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards.
Customer Service: Maintain excellent communication and service levels to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Financial Management: Manage budgeting, implement cost control measures, and oversee stock and inventory management.
Problem Solving: Efficiently address and solve operational problems, especially under high-pressure conditions.
Specialization: Utilize experience in fast-food or high-volume service to optimize workflow (where applicable).
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND).
Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in restaurant management.
Skills: Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and stock management.
Resilience: Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Added Advantage: Previous experience in fast-food or high-volume service environments.
