The University of Nairobi is seeking Research Associates for the (CHQI) Studies. The primary purpose of this role is to recruit study participants and collect both qualitative and quantitative data to support clinical research objectives. \n\n### Duties and Responsibilities\n- Operationalize study Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to site activation, data extraction, participant recruitment, and data collection.\n- Ensure strict compliance with the study protocol and institutional guidelines.\n- Implement study activities, including community engagement, providing information for obtaining informed consent, and sample collection.\n- Maintain accurate and detailed records of research procedures, results, and observations.\n- Provide the study team with regular and timely feedback on study activities.\n- Participate in regular team calls and meetings to discuss progress and challenges.\n- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the project leads.\n\n### Qualifications and Experience Requirements\nCandidates must meet one of the following criteria:\n- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) with clinical research experience.\n- Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Health Sciences with clinical research experience.\n- Master’s degree in medical humanities (e.g., Sociology, Anthropology, or Health Economics).\n- Diploma in Health Professions with at least three (3) years of experience in infectious diseases (HIV, TB) or Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) prevention and care.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply through the University of Nairobi's recruitment portal or follow the application link provided below.
