The Reliability Monitoring Engineer is responsible for overseeing the aircraft reliability program to ensure safety, airworthiness, and cost-effective maintenance operations. This role involves establishing a comprehensive Reliability Program manual that aligns with both Regulatory (KCAA/EASA/FAA) and company standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Establish the Reliability Program manual and ensure it is current to meet Regulatory and ALS Requirements.
Perform statistical analysis of aircraft system failures, components, power plants and structures to improve management of airworthiness and maintenance cost.
Establish the weekly repetitive defects and ECTM alerts.
Prepare monthly reliability reports, distribute same and schedule for the monthly reliability review meetings.
Initiate preliminary investigations and formulate recommendations for corrective and preventive actions for conditions that are above alert.
Continuously monitor corrective actions to determine their effectiveness.
Report safety risks that are evident during reliability analysis.
Liaise with manufacturers and vendors on reliability issues.
Requirements and Qualifications
Degree from a recognized university in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical, Electronics, or an equivalent field.
Three (3) years of working experience in an engineering office within the aviation industry.
Knowledge of reliability monitoring principles.
Knowledge of aircraft systems.
Detailed knowledge of KCAA/EASA/FAA regulations.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in analytical software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
