The Relationship Manager - High Net Worth Individuals is responsible for the acquisition of new HNI business and the management of an allocated portfolio to drive balance sheet and income growth. The role involves onboarding existing and new HNI clients, building strong business relationships to drive sales, ensuring service excellence, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. Additionally, the role collaborates with EIB, ELAK, and the Treasury department to provide comprehensive wealth management and preservation solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management and Financial Performance
Act as the first point of contact for clients within the allocated portfolio.
Proactively onboard and engage existing clients on the Group's offering, educate them on bank/industry developments, and share advisory communication.
Deliver on deposit, loan, investment, insurance, and revenue targets.
Leverage ecosystem opportunities across all business segments to target quality business and grow portfolio value.
Customer Excellence
Digitize and cross-sell to increase product holding to a minimum of 4 (Save, Invest, Borrow & Insure).
Ensure 100% CRM utilization for service, sales pipeline, and client contact programs.
Ensure correct carding of clients in the portfolio with a minimum utilization rate of 75%.
Achieve best bank in HNI Banking in the country as measured by wallet size growth, customer satisfaction score, and NPS rating.
Migrate a minimum of 60% of transactions to digital channels.
People
Foster team spirit and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
Manage resources efficiently to deliver timely and professional services to clients.
Participate in continuous training and personal development.
Internal Processes, Risk, and Compliance
Ensure full compliance with KYC, AML, legal, regulatory, and governance requirements in the acquisition and management of clients.
Comply with all Group and Subsidiary policies and procedures.
Maintain a satisfactory portfolio audit.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related field.
Professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, ACCA, CIB, or CISI.
Certification in Wealth Management, Investment Advisory, or Relationship Management.
Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in Relationship Management, Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Corporate Banking.
Proven experience managing HNI or affluent client portfolios.
Strong track record in sales, portfolio growth, and client retention within the financial services industry.
