The Relationship Manager Enterprise Banking at Rose Avenue Group is a strategic role focused on driving corporate balance sheet growth across assets, liabilities, and off-balance sheet exposures. The incumbent will be responsible for increasing the consumption of bank products and services, particularly within the corporate supply chain, and growing trade finance and regional business. The role demands high standards of credit portfolio management, adherence to risk and compliance guidelines, and maintaining strong relationships with both local and international partners.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Growth: Drive corporate balance sheet growth on assets, liabilities, and off-balance sheet exposures.
Relationship Management: Increase the level of products and services consumed by corporates and spearhead bank relationships across the corporate supply chain.
Trade & Regional Business: Grow trade finance and regional business volumes, focusing on importers/exporters and developing synergies with international entities.
Credit Management: Manage corporate credit portfolio quality and maintain it within the bank's risk thresholds.
Profitability: Achieve profitability and productivity ratios for the corporate portfolio and develop cost-effective long-term liabilities.
Business Development: Identify and develop a target pipeline, aggressively marketing to new profitable customers in identified sectors.
Customer Engagement: Manage key customer relationships through regular contacts and visits, ensuring an effective call program is maintained.
Stakeholder Relations: Maintain relationships with international partners, ranging from Direct Foreign Investors to Correspondent banks.
Leadership: Directly responsible for staff management and development, including motivation and succession planning.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements, as well as general Risk Management guidelines.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Overall portfolio growth in terms of Assets, Liabilities, and Corporate accounts.
Sustained growth of non-funded income while managing the cost of funds.
Achievement of profitability and productivity ratios.
Growth in trade finance and regional business volumes.
Maintenance of credit portfolio quality within risk thresholds.
Team learning and growth (90% attainment in assessments).
Requirements
Education: University Degree in a business-related field; an MBA is an added advantage.
General Experience: Minimum 7 years of general banking experience.
Specialized Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Corporate Relationship Management.
Technical Expertise: Must have experience in Credit Analysis & Administration, Sales, and Relationship Management.
Preferred Experience: Experience in structured trade finance, syndication, and project financing is highly desirable.
