Registrar, Judicial Service Commission

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) is seeking to appoint a Registrar. This is a pivotal senior management and administrative position within the commission, requiring high-level legal and administrative competence.

Job Requirements: Academic and Professional Qualifications

For appointment to the position of Registrar Judicial Service Commission, an applicant must possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor of Law (LLB) from a recognized Institution.
• Be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
• Be in possession of a current practicing certificate (where applicable).
• Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution regarding Leadership and Integrity.
• Have demonstrable competence in the performance of administrative duties.
• Have proficiency in computer applications.
• Must have completed a leadership management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.

Added Advantage:

• A Master’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or any other relevant field from a recognized University will be an added advantage.

Experience

Candidates must have:

• At least ten (10) years of relevant work experience, with at least five (5) years in a senior management position.
