About the Role
The Regional Relationship Manager - High Networth Individual is responsible for deepening relationships with High Net-Worth Individuals (HNI) clients to optimize retention, business development, revenue, and profitability within the region.
Job Purpose
- Responsible for acquisition of new HNI business & management of allocated portfolio to drive balance sheet and income growth within the region.
- To onboard existing & HNI clients. Build strong business relationships with the aim of driving sales, service excellence, and a high level of client satisfaction that is mutually beneficial.
- Work with EIB, ELAK, and treasury to provide wealth management and preservation solutions to clients.
- Work closely with cluster branches and teams within the region to grow HNI.
Key Accountabilities
Relationship Management and Financial Performance
- To be the first point of contact for clients for the allocated regional portfolio.
- Proactively onboard and engage existing clients on the Group’s offering, educate on new changes in the bank/industry, and share advisory communication.
- Deliver deposit, loans, investment, insurance, and revenue targets.
- Leverage the ecosystem opportunities across all business segments to target quality business and grow value.
Customer Excellence
- Digitize and cross-sell to increase product holding to a minimum of 4 (Save, Invest, Borrow & Insure).
- 100% CRM utilization on service, sales pipeline, and client contact program.
- Ensure correct carding of clients in the portfolio with a minimum utilization of 75%.
- Achieve best bank in HNI Banking in the country measured by wallet size growth, customer satisfaction score, and NPS rating.
- Migrate transactions to digital channels – minimum of 60%.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education and Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, ACCA, CIB, or CISI.
- Certification in Wealth Management, Investment Advisory, or Relationship Management.
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in Relationship Management, Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Corporate Banking.
- Proven experience managing HNI or affluent client portfolios.
- Strong track record in sales, portfolio growth, and client retention within the financial services industry.
