About the Role
MSVL Group is seeking a Regional Head of Sales (Exports & Business Development) to lead market expansion and drive revenue growth across international territories. This leadership position is responsible for developing export strategies, identifying high-growth markets, and building robust distributor networks while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Export Market Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive export strategies, identifying high-growth markets and analyzing demand, competition, and regulatory requirements across target regions.
- International Business Development: Identify and onboard strategic distributors and partners, establish strong B2B relationships, and lead negotiations for distribution agreements and market entry.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Drive export sales growth across decorative, industrial, and automotive product lines while achieving revenue and profitability targets.
- Distributor Network Management: Build and manage distributor networks, monitor performance, and provide commercial, product, and marketing support to drive growth.
- Export Operations & Compliance: Oversee export logistics, documentation, and compliance with international trade regulations while ensuring smooth coordination with supply chain teams.
- Brand Development: Drive brand visibility in international markets through trade shows, partnerships, and localized marketing initiatives.
- Market Intelligence: Track market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to identify opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achieve 20-30% annual growth in export sales.
- Enter 2-3 new regional markets annually.
- Add 5-8 new strategic distributors within the first two years.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of senior experience in export sales, international business development, or regional sales leadership.
- Experience in paints, coatings, construction materials, or manufacturing industries preferred.
- Proven track record in developing and managing international distributor networks.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and market expansion capabilities.
