Recruitment Officer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Administrative Support: Supporting the recruiting team with administrative duties.
• Scheduling: Scheduling interviews and balancing calendars for hiring managers and candidates.
• Screening: Carrying out initial applicant screening and shortlisting candidates for the various open roles.
• Sourcing: Sourcing candidates for various open roles.
• Candidate Communication: Sending regrets to unsuccessful candidates and responding to queries regarding job applications.
• Due Diligence: Carrying out reference checks for candidates prior to offer letters being sent out and processing background checks to verify applicant information.
• Advertising: Utilizing internal and external systems to advertise job vacancies as appropriate.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with employment and data protection-related legal requirements.
• Interviews: Organizing and taking part in interview procedures as required.
• Onboarding: Assisting with new hire onboarding (e.g., preparing documents and coordinating orientation agendas).
• Team Support: Assisting the Recruitment team with other duties as required.

Skills and Experience

• 4 years of proven experience as a Recruitment Officer or another recruiting-related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field.
• Experience using recruiting software and social networks for recruiting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, assessment, onboarding).
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
• Excellent research skills.
• Strong decision-making skills.
