Role Overview
This is the entry and training grade for the Radiographer cadre. An officer at this level works under the supervision and guidance of an experienced professional to provide essential diagnostic imaging services within the county health facilities.
Responsibilities
Provide radiographic services to patients visiting the healthcare facilities.
Process, verify, and maintain accurate information relating to patient diagnostics.
Order and maintain records of radiographic and photographic supplies to ensure continuous service delivery.
Ensure safety protocols are followed during imaging procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
Diploma in Medical Imaging (Radiographers) from a recognized institution.
A registration certificate from the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority.
A valid practicing licence from the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority.
A Certificate in computer application will be considered an added advantage.
