Key Responsibilities (What You Will Do)
- Perform routine and specialized X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound examinations.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively to produce high-quality images.
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and clear communication.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting of imaging results.
- Follow radiation protection and infection control guidelines.
- Keep imaging equipment clean, calibrated, and in optimal working condition.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to support patient diagnosis and care.
- Provide professional, empathetic care to patients during procedures.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Radiography/ Medical Imaging from a recognized institution.
- Registration with the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority (KNRA) or relevant body.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound imaging in a reputable medical institution.
- Strong technical skills and understanding of imaging protocols.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
- High attention to detail and professionalism.
