The Quantity Surveyor Assistant III will be responsible for technical tasks related to construction cost management and documentation within the Embu County Government. This role is essential for supporting the accurate preparation of project financial documents and ensuring that construction projects adhere to specified budgetary and technical guidelines.
Responsibilities and Duties
Square dimensions and abstract data for the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BQs).
Assist in the preparation of technical specifications for building and construction projects.
Assist in the preparation and processing of payment certificates for contractors and service providers.
Support senior quantity surveyors in cost estimation and project monitoring.
Ensure all measurements and calculations are accurate and well-documented.
Requirements for Appointment
A Diploma in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
Must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
