Machakos Institute of Technology is a training institution operating under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Quantity Survey Trainer to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and technical training to students, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge in geospatial engineering and technical education.
Responsibilities and Duties
Deliver curriculum-based training in Quantity Surveying and related geospatial engineering subjects.
Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and practical teaching aids.
Conduct student assessments, including exams and practical evaluations.
Monitor and record student performance and progress.
Provide mentorship and guidance to students in their technical career paths.
Collaborate with other faculty members on departmental objectives and curriculum development.
Requirements
Must possess a Bachelor of Science in Geospatial Engineering.
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar technical training environment.
Must have a Diploma in Technical Education from the Kenya School of TVET (formerly KTTC).
Strong understanding of technical training standards within the Kenyan education system.
