Job Description
Flexi Personnel is seeking to recruit Qualitative Interviewers to support research projects in Nairobi. The role primarily involves collecting high-quality qualitative data through interviews, focus group discussions, and participant observations, specifically within school environments.
Responsibilities
Obtain informed consent from study respondents prior to conducting interviews and group discussions.
Facilitate qualitative data collection through interviews, focus groups, and direct participant observations.
Maintain accurate documentation by taking field notes and drafting comprehensive debriefing reports for every session conducted.
Uphold strict standards for data quality and maintain the confidentiality of all research participants.
Ensure the security and proper maintenance of all assigned data collection tools and equipment.
Perform any other research-related activities as directed by the project coordinator.
Requirements
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for candidates having a background in Early Childhood Education.
Demonstrated experience and technical proficiency in qualitative research methodologies.
Fluent in both English and Swahili with the ability to facilitate complex discussions in both languages.
Must be a current resident of the target county (Nairobi).
Must commit to full availability for the training sessions and the entire duration of the data collection period.
Prior professional experience working within a school setting is required.
