Role Overview
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the supervision of a senior officer to provide essential public health services and community outreach within Narok County.
Duties and Responsibilities
Mobilizing, sensitizing, and advising communities on matters related to environmental health.
Referring health cases to relevant health facilities.
Identifying environmental health issues at the household level.
Organizing community health days to advise communities on common public health issues.
Collecting and maintaining up-to-date records of services rendered.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
A Certificate in Environmental Health Science (Public Health Technician).
A Registration Certificate from the Public Health Officers and Technicians Council.
A valid practicing licence from the Public Health Officers and Technicians Council.
A Certificate in computer application (added advantage).
