As a Public Area Attendant at Peoplelink Consultants Ltd, you will be responsible for ensuring that all common areas of the facility are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. This role is crucial for creating a positive first impression and providing a safe, sanitary environment for guests and staff members.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, staircases, and elevators.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and various surfaces.
Dust furniture, fixtures, and decorative items to maintain presentation standards.
Empty trash bins and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
Replenish supplies such as soap, tissue, and hand sanitizers in restrooms.
Monitor the premises and report maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, leaks, lighting problems).
Respond promptly to specific cleaning requests or accidental spills.
Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
Assist in deep cleaning tasks as per the established schedule.
Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper storage after use.
Job Requirements
Minimum of a high school certificate or equivalent (NCE).
Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is considered an added advantage.
Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and the operation of cleaning equipment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Good physical stamina and strong attention to detail.
Basic communication skills.
