New Agrodeal Kenya Limited, the leading grower and exporter of premium quality and organic herbs, vegetables, and flowers, is seeking a Project Manager to join its team. While our production base is in Naivasha, this specific position is based in Nairobi. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and are completed within budget and set timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals.
Develop comprehensive project plans and coordinate the allocation of resources.
Manage and lead project team members and third-party contractors or consultants.
Track project milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Manage project expectations with stakeholders through regular communication.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Agriculture, Education Management, International Development, or a related field. A Master's degree is a strong advantage.
Certifications: Formal project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar) is preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in project management.
Specific Expertise: Familiarity with the education system and prior experience in management and education sectors.
Skills: Strong leadership, strategic planning, and interpersonal communication skills.
