About the Role
Jumba Ruins Monsoon is seeking a Professional Restaurant Waitress for a full-time, on-site role in Mombasa County, Kenya. Please note that Monsoon is a high-end seafood restaurant (not a beach bar or a pub). As such, drinks are only served to clients having meals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service and communication to guests.
Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a professional manner.
Ensure a clean and organized dining and service area.
Assist in food preparation and presentation where required.
Address customer inquiries and concerns in a courteous and timely manner.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: BA/BSc/HND in Hospitality or a related field is preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Proven experience in Food & Beverage and Food Service roles.
Basic cooking skills are considered an asset.
Ability to work well and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, welcoming attitude.
Previous experience in the hospitality industry is highly preferred.
