Sheer Logic Management Consultants (SLMC) is seeking Production Supervisors to oversee manufacturing operations at Tatu City. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing factory floor processes, ensuring staff availability, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. This role acts as a critical link between management and the production workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Manpower Management: Maintain a reliable pool of manpower to meet operational needs, ensuring staff readiness. Manage attendance, deployment, and shift planning, including mobilizing replacements for shortages.
Liaison & Communication: Act as the primary liaison between deployed staff and management. Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks to keep the team informed.
Staff Welfare & Discipline: Enforce disciplinary procedures and company policies. Handle employee grievances and welfare issues in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Operational Oversight: Supervise factory floor processes, including product handling, inspection, and housekeeping. Prevent product loss through diligent supervision and training.
Compliance & Safety: Oversee workplace health and safety practices, including proper PPE usage and hygiene standards. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as medical certifications.
Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of attendance, wage summaries, and compliance documentation. Address emergency situations involving staff, such as medical or security concerns.
Culture Building: Promote a positive safety culture and accountability among all staff members.
Requirements
Option 1: Diploma in Management with at least 3 years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Option 2: Degree in a Technical field with at least 1 year’s experience in manufacturing.
Proficiency in manpower and shift management.
Knowledge of manufacturing health and safety standards.
Demonstrated experience in staff supervision and disciplinary procedures.
