Remote is looking for a Product Manager to join our Fintech vertical on the Billing Platform team. As a Billing Platform Product Manager, you will be a key member of our triad of product managers in the billing team, each leading their independent teams yet working within an interconnected scope.
In this role, you will develop and guide our strategy for a key product area in Finance. You will advance this vision by working with a cross-functional engineering and design group to find our most important problems and shape iterative solutions towards them.
Key Responsibilities
Build solutions together with the rest of the team that solve for finance, billing, and other financial services at Remote.
Own not just software implementation, but the end-to-end experience across human and software-powered services.
Lead complex solutions autonomously without requiring constant support or involvement from senior product team members.
Effectively manage internal expectations for complex projects, products, and features while navigating challenging prioritization decisions.
Drive Remote in the right direction by building an effective roadmap and strategy for your product area in Finance.
Break down strategic plans into clear near-term and mid-term goals.
Align your product roadmap with higher-level department and company goals.
Serve as the subject matter expert for your product area and contribute to scaling and growth plans.
Ship improvements quickly and iteratively, finding minimal viable solutions to problems.
Support and lead a product team delivering high throughput and high return on investment.
Understand key business KPIs and align your team's work and metrics directly to improve them.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to solve complex problems.
Work asynchronously and transparently, sharing techniques, processes, and learnings across the Product org.
Qualifications & Experience
Prior experience as a Product Manager in billing/invoicing or a similar domain, ideally at a high-growth company.
Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code or similar tools to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional prototypes or code changes.
Strong judgment making both strategic (prioritization) and tactical (feature scope) decisions.
Demonstrable, self-driven results that have measurably moved a product forward.
Passion for creating seamless and effective products for complex domain challenges.
Outstanding written and spoken communication and collaboration skills in English.
