Job Description
Africa Management Solutions Limited (AMSOL) is seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the essential supplies and services required for hospital operations. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient flow of goods while maintaining cost-effectiveness and compliance with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Planning: Manage end-to-end procurement planning and supplier sourcing to meet operational needs.
Purchase Order Management: Prepare purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of goods.
Supplier Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and service providers.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation.
Policy Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field of study.
Professional Membership: Active membership with the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) is mandatory.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in procurement or supply chain management.
