We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Procurement & Logistics Officer to join our team in Nairobi. In this role, you will oversee material sourcing, manage logistics and inventory, and coordinate with site teams and suppliers to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Support
Source materials, prepare purchase orders, obtain supplier quotations, and maintain comprehensive procurement records.
Logistics & Inventory Management
Coordinate material deliveries, monitor inventory levels, and maintain accurate logistics and stock documentation.
Supplier & Site Coordination
Liaise effectively with suppliers and construction site teams, monitor supplier performance, and ensure strict compliance with internal procurement procedures.
Reporting & Administration
Prepare regular procurement reports, maintain proper documentation, and support compliance with company policies and audits.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
5–8 years’ of active experience in procurement or logistics, preferably within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction materials and site operations is considered an added advantage.
Membership with KISM or CIPS is required (either completed or in progress toward certification).
