As a Principal Fusion SCM Consultant at Oracle, you will act as a technical team leader and coach, helping customers leverage Oracle cloud technologies through best practices. You will assess business needs, assist in the journey to the cloud, and provide technical guidance on both cloud and on-premise solutions. The role involves ensuring successful handovers from implementation to operations and supporting business growth by identifying new sales opportunities. You will work on a variety of projects involving Oracle SCM Cloud, Payroll, and Cloud ERP as a Technical specialist, handling tasks from building integrations to troubleshooting and pre-sales advisory.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach technical team members, recognizing their contributions and mentoring them in relevant skills.
- Assess and analyze customer business needs to ensure Oracle solutions meet specific objectives.
- Assist customers in their overall Journey to Cloud.
- Ensure Oracle cloud technologies are leveraged appropriately using industry best practices.
- Act as the Oracle Solution Delivery authority, ensuring customers make informed decisions regarding scope to achieve beneficial, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions.
- Provide technical guidance on Oracle cloud and/or on-premise solutions to customers and team members.
- Support solutions around multi-cloud and hybrid cloud setups.
- Ensure successful handover from implementation toward operations, ensuring the solution fits requirements.
- Maintain Oracle Solutions across various platforms (on-premise, cloud, or hybrid) and workloads (application, middleware, database, and infrastructure).
- Collaborate with Technical Account Managers to ensure work streams are technically well managed.
- Support the pre-sales team as a main technical contact, identifying and promoting opportunities for sales growth.
- Lead and contribute to strategic programs and initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years in delivering Oracle solutions and/or transformation programs, ideally using cloud technologies.
- Education: Undergraduate or higher level degree(s) holder (BA/BSc/HND) or equivalent work experience.
- Language: Applicants are required to read, write, and speak Arabic & English fluently.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Fusion SaaS applications, specifically within the Supply Chain Management (SCM) track.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Oracle SCM Cloud, Payroll, and Cloud ERP. Proficiency in building integrations from the ground up, troubleshooting technical solutions, requirement gathering, CRP workshops, design, configuration, fast formula writing, testing, and parallel payroll run strategy/execution.
- Consulting Ability: Experience acting as a specialist or developer with cloud solution design, development, and delivery.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical staff at all levels.
- Attitude: Positive, resilient, and creative mindset with an agile approach to challenging situations.
- Flexibility: Ability to deliver services both remotely and onsite as required by business needs.
