Job Description
Girwa Radio FM (99.5 FM), a licensed radio station broadcasting in Dholuo with coverage in Homa Bay, Migori, Kisumu, Siaya, and surrounding areas, is expanding its Press Club Project. We are seeking four (4) qualified, passionate, and community-driven individuals to join our team as Press Club Project Coordinators. This role is instrumental in bringing joy to the Luo Nation through grassroots engagement and media empowerment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Press Club activities at the grassroots level to ensure project objectives are met.
Support and facilitate youth engagement initiatives and media training programs.
Report on field activities and capture compelling community stories for broadcasting.
Maintain close collaboration with the Project Manager to align field efforts with station goals.
Requirements
A Professional Certificate in a relevant field.
Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively interact with community members.
A deep passion for media, community development, and youth empowerment.
Experience in journalism, media production, or community work is considered a significant advantage.
