Job Description
PrideInn Hotels, Resorts & Camp is a prominent and rapidly growing hospitality brand in Kenya with a strong presence across five counties. We are looking for a dedicated Pool Attendant to join our team. The Pool Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety of guests in the swimming area while maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the pool facilities. This role involves technical maintenance of pool systems, monitoring water usage, and upholding high safety standards to provide an exceptional experience for hotel guests.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general swimming pool maintenance, including monitoring water levels, pumps, and overall pool conditions.
Conduct routine checks on swimming pool installations and related plumbing systems.
Monitor water usage and ensure efficient operation of pool systems.
Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of tools, equipment, and work areas.
Support the engineering team and assist other artisans with maintenance tasks when required.
Ensure high standards of safety, workmanship, and compliance with fire and safety procedures.
Assist in safety programs and emergency response procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
Valid Lifeguard Certificate with knowledge of basic lifesaving and pool safety procedures.
Professional Certificate in Operations or Water Treatment, with basic knowledge of health and safety standards.
Basic knowledge of swimming pool maintenance, pumps, filtration systems, and water treatment.
Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to safety standards.
Good personal grooming, punctuality, and professional conduct.
