The Plating Operator is responsible for the precise plating of socks according to established quality standards and technical specifications. This role involves working within a production environment to ensure items are prepared, inspected, and processed efficiently to meet daily manufacturing targets.
Key Responsibilities
Plate socks according to set specifications and quality requirements.
Carefully unplait socks from the plates of the bonding machine.
Inspect plated socks thoroughly for defects and accuracy.
Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in the designated work area.
Report any manufacturing defects or equipment issues promptly to supervisors.
Meet and exceed daily plating production targets.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Minimum of a BA/BSc or HND in a relevant field.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long hours as required by production shifts.
Attention to Detail: High level of precision and detail-oriented approach to work.
Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
Process Adherence: Demonstrated ability to follow technical instructions accurately.
Mindset: Self-motivated, quality-focused, and results-driven.
