Recently classified as a Level 6B National Tertiary Teaching and Referral Hospital, the facility serves patients from all over Kenya and other African nations. We are seeking a highly skilled Plastic Surgeon Consultant to join our medical team and contribute to our mission of providing compassionate, quality healthcare.
Role Overview
The Plastic Surgeon Consultant will provide expert surgical care in plastic and reconstructive surgery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnostic services, complex surgical interventions, and the management of patients throughout their recovery cycle, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
Perform various plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures to treat congenital defects, injuries, and diseases.
Provide expert consultation and diagnostic services to patients.
Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for surgical patients.
Manage pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up care.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Adhere to the hospital's ethical guidelines and clinical protocols as a faith-based institution.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) and a Masters degree in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Registration: Must be registered with the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board (KMPDC).
Licensing: Must possess a valid private practicing license.
Professionalism: High level of surgical proficiency and adherence to medical ethics.
