Stratostaff is seeking a Plant Engineer to oversee maintenance and projects across three major facilities: MJT, LOBP, and the GAPCO terminal. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring Operational Excellence (OE) by developing and executing processes that comply with international company standards. The role involves a combination of technical troubleshooting, project management, and strategic operational optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Management: Oversee maintenance and projects across the MJT, LOBP, and GAPCO terminal facilities.
Operational Excellence: Develop, roll out, and execute OE processes to maintain strict compliance with corporate standards.
Maintenance Strategy: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and strategies for all plant equipment.
Machinery Oversight: Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of machinery, conducting regular inspections to identify and resolve potential issues.
Technical Troubleshooting: Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Project Management: Manage plant projects, including system upgrades, modifications, and new equipment installations.
Process Optimization: Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and optimize production processes, reliability, and energy efficiency.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure total compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental laws; conduct audits and mitigate hazards.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with vendors, contractors, and external service providers; collaborate with production and quality teams; provide technical support and training to staff.
Documentation & Budgeting: Maintain accurate records, develop plant drawings and procedures, and manage the engineering budget and performance reporting.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a plant or industrial processing setting.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Engineering Fundamentals, Technical Drawings, and Schematics.
Software Proficiency: Competent in CAD, Electrical, and Automation software.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
