Plant Controller

The Plant Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial health and operational efficiency of the plant facilities, ensuring robust internal controls, and driving cost-effective initiatives.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n* Drive the Total Plant(s) budgeting process. Coordinate and support budget information gathering and ensure meeting of plant objectives to aid management decision-making.\n* Analyze and identify cost-saving opportunities. Lead cost-effective and efficiency initiatives across the business to maximize product margins.\n* Work closely with the Plant Manager to drive product cost competitiveness. Maintain accurate product costing in SAP (activity type and overheads rates updates). Collaborate with the Business Controller to develop competitive pricing strategies.\n* Ensure effective internal controls are in place within plant revenue, expenditure, and inventory processes to prevent loss of company assets.\n* Ensure optimum stockholding and a sound inventory control system. Maintain and develop monthly stock-taking and reconciliation procedures for all sites and depots. Investigate and book inventory variances on a timely basis.\n* Prepare timely, accurate, and cost-effective plant reports, highlighting variances for management action. Support payables and receivables documentation flow for supplier payments processing.\n* Identify gaps and build team capability through orientation, induction, and training. Manage performance on a weekly and monthly basis and drive succession planning. Ensure compliance with company codes of conduct, safety, and GMP standards.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n* A University Graduate in a business-related field.\n* Qualified Accountant (CPA(K), ACCA, or equivalent).\n* Computer literate with hands-on working knowledge of SAP (specifically CO, MM, and PP modules), spreadsheets, and other MS Office applications.\n* Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment with a track record of success in inventory and production processes.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply online via the Unga Holding recruitment portal on SAP SuccessFactors.
