Nairobi Adventist Hospital (NAH) is a Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) church-established and owned Hospital. It is a tertiary (level 4) hospital located in Nyari west area in Westlands sub-county, Nairobi County, Kenya. The hospital is seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to provide specialized care and rehabilitation services to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Duties and Responsibilities
Providing physiotherapy services to patients in an outpatient unit, ward, or health institution.
Assessing patients’ needs, including specific rehabilitation requirements.
Collecting, verifying, and maintaining accurate information related to patients.
Screening and assessing patients to provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and hydrotherapy as per formulated treatment plans.
Sensitizing the community on physiotherapy services and benefits.
Preparing periodic reports for management and clinical review.
Qualifications and Requirements
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E.), grade C or above or its equivalent with passes in the relevant subjects.
Diploma in physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
Certificate of registration from the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK).
Current certificate of practice from the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK).
At least 3 years of experience in a busy physiotherapy department.
