We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable healthcare provider, for a qualified and dependable Pharmaceutical Technologist (Locum) to support operations at one of their outpatient facilities in Eastleigh.
This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Pharmaceutical Technologist seeking flexible locum assignments while contributing to the delivery of quality pharmaceutical care in a professional healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately in accordance with legal and professional standards.
Review prescriptions for completeness and accuracy before dispensing.
Provide patients with appropriate medication counselling, including dosage, administration, storage, and possible side effects.
Maintain accurate dispensing records and pharmacy documentation.
Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management, including ordering and stock rotation.
Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance within the pharmacy.
Work collaboratively with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to promote quality patient care.
Ensure compliance with Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) regulations and other applicable healthcare standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
Valid registration and current practicing licence issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
Previous experience working in a retail pharmacy, hospital, or clinic will be an added advantage.
Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical products and dispensing procedures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a busy healthcare environment.
