Role Overview
The County Government of Nyeri is seeking to recruit qualified individuals for the position of Pharmaceutical Technologist Intern. This internship program is designed to offer hands-on practical experience to graduates in the pharmaceutical field within the county's health facilities, helping them build practical skills and complete their professional transition.
Core Responsibilities
Assist in dispensing prescribed medications and health technologies to patients under the direct supervision of registered pharmacists or senior technologists.
Provide clear, concise instructions to patients on proper drug usage, dosage, adherence, and storage.
Assist in managing pharmaceutical stock and inventory, including receiving, sorting, and recording stock levels.
Support efforts to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance within the pharmacy.
Help in compounding and packaging medications where necessary.
Assist in keeping accurate records of all dispensed medications.
Requirements
Must possess a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized training institution.
