Role Overview
The Pharmaceutical Technologist is responsible for the preparation, dispensing, and supply of medications while ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and standards. Working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist or independently (where permitted), they manage prescriptions, provide patient counseling on medication use, maintain inventory, and support safe and efficient pharmacy operations.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
Degree in Pharmacy or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology
At least one (1) year post-internship working experience, preferably in a hospital setting
Registered and with a valid license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board
Proficiency in computer skills (especially Health Management Information Systems)
