Job Description
Equity Afia is a group of qualified and experienced doctors who have come together as a network of medical entrepreneurs with the aim of providing high quality, affordable and accessible healthcare to the majority of Kenyans. The role involves managing pharmaceutical services within the medical centre, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients.
Responsibilities
Manage pharmaceutical services within the medical facility.
Dispense prescription medications and provide usage instructions to patients.
Ensure accurate patient record-keeping using Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
Maintain and monitor pharmaceutical stock levels and storage conditions.
Provide counseling to patients regarding drug interactions and side effects.
Requirements
Degree in Pharmacy or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
At least one (1) year post-internship working experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
Registered and with a valid license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
Proficiency in computer skills, especially Health Management Information Systems.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
