Role Overview
Reporting to the Pharmacy In-Charge, the Pharmaceutical Technologist focuses on ensuring prescription accuracy and safe medication delivery to provide patients with the highest standard of pharmaceutical care.
Key Responsibilities
Prescription Management: Responsible for the validation, verification, and accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
Inventory Control: Manage pharmacy inventory to ensure availability of essential medications and supplies.
Reporting: Prepare quality reports as required by internal management and external regulatory bodies.
Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with internal protocols and external regulations guiding the pharmacy profession.
Requirements and Competencies
Education: Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised institution.
Experience: At least 2 years of appropriate experience in pharmaceutical operations.
Technical Skills: Competency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
Soft Skills: Excellent customer service skills, self-motivated, a strong team player, and a pleasant personality.
