Role Overview
The Payments Performance Analyst plays a crucial role in evaluating, measuring, and improving financial performance and operational efficiency within the business. This is a Group-level position supporting all licenses and subsidiaries by providing insightful product and channel performance reports to guide strategic decision-making.
Core Accountabilities and Deliverables
Financial Performance: Provide comprehensive monthly product performance reports with actionable insights to guide business decisions.
People Management: Lead and manage a team of Equity Leaders Program (ELP) scholars on data analytics tasks. Review their outputs and provide guidance. Work closely with the Business Intelligence (BI) team to ensure product dashboards are precise and provide relevant metrics.
Process Optimization: Adhere to Product House processes and procedures, ensuring all risks are mitigated according to established guidelines.
Systems Management: Ensure that platforms and systems used for data analytics are readily available, functional, and up-to-date.
Stakeholder Support: Collaborate with internal clients who utilize reporting dashboards, providing training and continuous support to ensure they can effectively use data tools.

Evaluating, measuring, and improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
Supporting all licenses and subsidiaries in providing product and channel performance reports at a Group level.

Technical Competencies
Data Analysis: Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Python or R, supported by solid statistical knowledge.
Data Visualization: Expert use of tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Product Analytics: Practical experience with tools like Google Analytics.
KPI Tracking: Defining and measuring KPIs and product success metrics.
Experimentation: Proficiency in A/B testing, experimentation design, and results interpretation.
Leadership & Soft Skills
Business Acumen: Linking product performance directly to business outcomes.
Team Leadership: Experience in team management and fostering a collaborative environment.
Communication: Skill in translating complex data into clear insights for diverse stakeholders.
Critical Thinking: Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify key trends and insights.
Adaptability: Leading with data-driven evidence and adjusting strategies in fast-paced environments.
Qualifications and Experience
Academic Background: First Degree in Data Science or Data Analytics.
Advanced Education: Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage.
Certifications: Diploma in Artificial Intelligence or Predictive Analytics.
Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years and above in Data Science, Business Intelligence, or Data Analysis.
Market Knowledge: Experience in Francophone markets is considered a significant advantage.
Additional Skills: Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
