We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at Bliss Resort Mombasa. The role involves managing daily pastry production, supervising junior staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and creativity.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Manage daily pastry production, maintain consistency, and meet service timelines.\n- Supervise junior kitchen staff and work effectively within a team.\n- Ensure high-quality desserts, cakes, plated desserts, and buffet presentations.\n- Maintain strict food safety standards and hygiene practices.\n- Control costs, minimize wastage, and manage inventory efficiently.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n- BA/BSc/HND in Culinary Arts or a related field.\n- Minimum 2–4 years’ professional pastry experience, preferably within hotels, restaurants, or reputable bakeries.\n- Previous experience as Pastry Chef de Partie, Senior Pastry Chef de Partie, or Pastry Sous Chef in a moderately busy kitchen.\n- Strong knowledge of classic pastry, basic bakery production, cakes, plated desserts, and buffet presentation.\n- Demonstrated ability to supervise junior kitchen staff and work effectively within a team.\n- Good understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices (HACCP).\n- Ability to control costs, minimize wastage, and manage inventory efficiently.\n\n### What We Are Looking For\n- A disciplined, detail-oriented professional who blends classic technique with modern creativity.\n- A calm operator under pressure.\n- A true team player.\n\n### How to Apply\nSend your CV to with the subject line: .
