About the Role
The Open University of Kenya aims to address the pressing issue of limited capacity in traditional universities by employing innovative teaching and learning methodologies, including online and distance education. By leveraging technology and flexible learning modes, the university seeks to accommodate a larger number of qualified students, enabling them to access quality education.
The university is seeking qualified Part-time Lecturers in the fields of Marketing, Procurement, and Project Management to support students online and handle digital content.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
For appointment, candidates MUST have:
An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University; OR A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University (in special cases) with at least three (3) years teaching experience at university level and registered in good standing for PhD in the relevant field.
Be computer literate with ability to handle digital content and the ability to support students online.
An updated CV (to include full academic details, professional qualifications, and experience, membership with professional bodies, and names and addresses of three referees), copies of ID/Passport, academic certificates, and testimonials.
