Job Description
The Open University of Kenya aims to address the pressing issue of limited capacity in traditional universities by employing innovative teaching and learning methodologies, including online and distance education. By leveraging technology and flexible learning modes, the university seeks to accommodate a larger number of qualified students, enabling them to access quality education.
The university is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to join as Part-time Lecturers in Human Resource Management and Leadership Development to support online learning delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver online and virtual lectures to students in Human Resource Management and Leadership Development.
Prepare, manage, and facilitate digital learning content and coursework.
Support and mentor students through the university's online platforms.
Assess student progress, coursework, and examinations virtually.
Requirements & Qualifications
An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University; OR
A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University (in special cases) with at least three (3) years teaching experience at university level and registered in good standing for a PhD in the relevant field.
Must be computer literate with the ability to handle digital content and support students online.
Active registration and good standing with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
An updated CV (including full academic details, professional qualifications, experience, membership with professional bodies, and names/addresses of three referees)
