By leveraging technology and flexible learning modes, the university seeks to accommodate a larger number of qualified students. The institution is seeking qualified Part-time Lecturers in the field of Agriculture and Food Systems to facilitate online teaching, handle digital content, and support students through distance learning methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures and instructional materials in Agriculture and Food Systems via online learning channels.
Support and mentor students throughout their academic journey in a virtual environment.
Handle, manage, and deliver digital teaching content effectively.
Conduct assessments, evaluate assignments, and provide timely feedback to online learners.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University; OR a Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University (in special cases) with at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level and registered in good standing for a Ph.D. in the relevant field.
Must be computer literate with a demonstrated ability to handle digital content and support students online.
Registered member in good standing with relevant professional bodies.
